Herald was established in 1994 by Katie Potts and is one of the UK's leading specialist technology and media investors with approximately £400 million ($700 million) of assets under management.
Robert J Earle (USA)
Former CTO and co-founder of Arbor Software Bob Earle was the rocket scientist who left his job as a NASA mathematician in Houston to focus on business intelligence (BI) in the 1980's as President of EPS, Inc. and was the brains behind the modern OLAP server engine popularized by Arbor Software's Essbase (now part of Hyperion) which created a market for products like Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services.
George Kunzle (UK)
Author of Adaytum Planning, now Cognos Planning Analyst, George Kunzle graduated from Cambridge University in 1955 and, after being involved in the family business, joined IBM UK in 1963 where he was responsible for Financial Planning until 1989. George was on the board of Adaytum until 2002 just before it's acquisition by Cognos in December of that year.
